Job Summary
Key Responsibilities (Technical Focus)
Clean Core Enablement
Evaluate the current SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP landscape to assess adherence to Clean Core principles.
Define and establish a Clean Core strategy by reducing customizations in S/4HANA and positioning SAP BTP as the strategic extension platform.
Provide architectural guidance to ensure future enhancements remain upgrade-secure and SAP-compliant.
SAP BTP & Integration Suite Governance
Design, establish, and govern the SAP BTP setup, with a strong focus on Integration Suite (IS).
Define monitoring, alerting, logging, and error-handling standards for BTP integrations and services.
Ensure operational readiness, stability, and performance of BTP-based integrations.
Side-by-Side Extension Strategy




Assess the current state where no side-by-side extensions exist and define a future-ready extensibility roadmap.
Guide teams in identifying use cases suitable for BTP-based side-by-side extensions using SAP-recommended patterns.
Ensure extensions follow SAP best practices (CAP, APIs, event-driven architecture) and do not impact core S/4HANA processes.
Technical Leadership & Enablement
Act as a technical authority with a strong ABAP foundation, leveraging deep understanding of SAP internals.
Apply modern SAP BTP best practices and cloud-native design principles to guide solution design.
Support teams in transitioning from traditional ABAP-centric development to cloud-first, BTP-driven architectures.
