Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Finance Subject Matter Expert (SME) from the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing industry to support a strategic consulting assignment. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in finance operations, working capital optimization, profitability analysis, and financial controls, with exposure to finance transformation, analytics, or AI-driven initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Working Capital

- Analyze inventory across manufacturing plants and warehouses from a working capital perspective.
- Identify excess, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory.
- Recommend strategies to optimize inventory investment and improve cash flow.
- Monitor inventory-related financial KPIs.

Profitability Analysis

- Analyze profitability across SKU, product, brand, and customer levels.
- Identify high and low-margin products.
- Support pricing and product portfolio decisions.
- Provide recommendations to improve profitability.

Accounts Payable Optimization





- Identify invoices with discount optimization opportunities.
- Prioritize invoice processing to maximize savings.
- Analyze approval and payment cycles.
- Identify workflow bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
- Support AI-enabled invoice prioritization and escalation initiatives.

Fraud Detection & Financial Controls

- Identify duplicate invoices, duplicate payments, and suspicious transactions.
- Analyze vendor and payment anomalies.
- Support financial controls, compliance, audit, and risk management initiatives.
