Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Global Payroll Manager to join our growing team at Acuity Knowledge Partners. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of global payroll operations—ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely salary disbursements across multiple countries.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end global payroll operations across countries including India, UK, US, Hong Kong, Canada, Australia, Mauritius, and UAE.
- Ensure compliance with local and international payroll laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Oversee payroll inputs such as new hires, terminations, promotions, salary changes, and deductions.
- Perform regular audits and validations to ensure payroll accuracy and statutory compliance.
- Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to integrate payroll and employee data seamlessly.
- Address and resolve employee payroll-related queries with a focus on service quality.
- Ensure data accuracy, manage updates due to statutory or policy changes,
and maintain integrity across systems.
- Prepare and review payroll reports, tax filings, and benefits deductions.
- Lead vendor and stakeholder management for payroll-related services.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll data in line with best practices and legal standards.
- Keep abreast of changes in payroll legislation and best practices; implement enhancements as needed.
- Guide and develop the payroll team to meet organizational standards and performance goals.
Key Competencies and Requirements:
- MBA in HR or Finance, or an equivalent postgraduate qualification.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in payroll management or accounting roles.
- Strong knowledge of global payroll processes, statutory regulations, tax laws, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience handling payroll audits, inspections, and compliance assessments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with payroll software and automation tools is a plus.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and reconciliation skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in managing complex datasets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; adept at stakeholder management across levels.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage competing priorities, and maintain discretion and integrity.
