Job Description: Junior Accountant

Experience - 1–3 Years Experience

Location: Mavelikara, Kerala

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant with 1–3 years of experience to join our finance team in Mavelikara. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and support financial reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, ledgers, and journals.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, track payments, and manage collections.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile company accounts with bank statements regularly.
- Tax Compliance: Assist in preparation and filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
- Financial Reporting: Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation.
- Audit Support: Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary documentation.




- Payroll Processing: Assist in salary disbursement, deductions, and statutory contributions.
- Budgeting Assistance: Help in preparing budgets and monitoring variances.

Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Tally or other accounting software.
- Robust knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting standards.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
