Position : Assistant Housekeeper – Mumbai (Male/Female preferred)

Experience : 5 - 8 years

Location : Vile Parle, Mumbai

Reporting To : Executive Housekeeper

The Assistant Housekeeper oversees and coordinates the activities of room attendants, house attendants, public area cleaners, and floor supervisors. He/She assists in managing and directing the daily operations of all housekeeping and laundry functions.

Job description :

- Must possess a keen eye for detail and effectively interact with guests, other departments, and housekeeping staff.

- Acquires a list of vacant rooms that require immediate cleaning and a list of anticipated checkouts or discharges to prepare work assignments.

- Assigns duties to team members and inspects their work to ensure compliance with established cleanliness standards.

- Prepares and distributes the room assignment sheet and floor keys to room attendants.

- Maintains explicit and efficient communication and coordination with the front office and other hotel departments.

- Schedules cleaning for the lobby area, public restrooms, hallways, entrances,



and elevators.

- Plans periodic major cleaning projects, including carpet shampooing, wall and baseboard cleaning, and window washing.

- Provides support to the Executive Housekeeper in all aspects of housekeeping operations, including staff training, coaching, counseling, and enforcing the hotel’s standard operating procedures.

- Assists in controlling expenses by the housekeeping department.

Required Candidate profile

Education: Hotel management diploma or equivalent.

Write report with proper format, spelling and grammar. Speak with correct English and well- modulated voice.

Experience: Minimum 2 years housekeeping experience in a supervisory capacity, 2 years line level experience in all aspects of the housekeeping department.

- Age upto 22 - 30 Years

- Proficient in MS Office and IDS software

- Well groomed & Pleasing Personality

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
