Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Wedding Video Editor to join our post-production team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing raw footage and crafting highly emotional, visually stunning wedding films. You must have a deep understanding of pacing, music selection, and emotional storytelling to capture the unique essence of each couple's special day.

Key Responsibilities

- Footage Management: Review, organize, and back up large volumes of raw multi-camera footage and audio files from wedding events.
- Timeline Assembly: Digitally splice and sync multi-cam video clips with external audio tracks, including vows, speeches, and ambient sound.
- Narrative Editing: Cut and assemble wedding trailers, teasers, social media reels, 3-to-5-minute cinematic highlight films, and full-length traditional documentary films.
- Music & Pacing: Select appropriate background scores across various languages/genres that match the rhythm, culture, and emotional tone of the wedding.
- Color Grading: Perform professional color correction and cinematic color grading to ensure lighting and tones remain rich and consistent across different cameras.
- Sound Design: Clean up dialogue, eliminate background noise, and blend music tracks seamlessly with speeches or vows.
- Visual Effects: Apply smooth transitions, basic motion graphics, lower thirds,



and titles to elevate production value.
- Revisions: Collaborate with the creative director or lead photographer to incorporate client feedback and make required revisions.
- Deadlines: Manage multiple project timelines simultaneously to ensure the timely delivery of finished films during peak wedding season.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience specifically editing cinematic wedding videos.
- Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in industry-standard software, primarily Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of multi-cam editing, audio syncing, color profiles (like LOG footage), and video compression formats.
- Storytelling Mindset: A solid portfolio showcasing an ability to build a narrative out of unscripted moments.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot small continuity errors, frame imperfections, or audio glitches.
- Communication: Exceptional collaborative skills to work alongside on-ground videographers and creative directors.
