SAP S/4HANA Sales (SD) Consultant

Role Overview

As an SAP S/4HANA Sales and Distribution (SD) Consultant,
you will provide expertise in assisting business users with day-to-day
operations, primarily in SAP SD and front-end technologies. This role requires
strong business process analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and hands-on
technical debugging in SAP ABAP and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

- Business

Support: Assist business and end users in daily SAP SD operations and
front-end technologies.

- Process

Analysis: Conduct business and process analysis to identify
improvement opportunities.

- Stakeholder

Liaison: Collaborate with engineering, customer support, and
cross-functional teams.

- Quality

Assurance: Document issues with detailed analysis and ensure QA
standards.

- Flexibility:

Adapt to recent areas and evolving business needs.

- Technical

Debugging: Perform functional debugging and troubleshoot issues in SAP
SD.

- ABAP

Development: Work with Reports, Module Pool, SAP Scripts, Forms, ALV
Reports, ALE/IDOC,



Service Gateway, BADIs, BAPIs, Queries, and
Object-Oriented programming.

- Release

Management: Ensure compliance with release and change management
processes.

- Integration:

Manage integration with MM, FI, and external systems (EDI, IDOCs, REST
APIs).

- Incident

Management: Work with ServiceNow, JIRA, and apply best practices in
incident/problem management.

- Continuous

Improvement: Identify issue patterns and propose improvement
strategies.

Required Skills

- SAP SD Expertise: Minimum 4 years of IT experience in SAP SD (S/4HANA

Sales certification preferred).

- Order-to-Cash Processes: Strong knowledge of Inquiries, Quotes, Sales Orders,

Returns, Consignment Contracts, Scheduling Agreements, Credit/Debit Memos,
Rush Orders, Cash Sales, Back Orders.

- Integration Knowledge: Good understanding of SAP MM & FI modules and external

system integration.

- Enterprise Landscape: Experience in large-scale enterprise systems spanning SAP,

middleware, and external applications.

- Requirement Gathering: Skilled in gathering business requirements, designing

solutions, SAP configuration,



and writing functional specs.

- Testing

& Documentation: Perform testing, create knowledge articles, and
maintain detailed documentation.

- Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Problem

Solving: Strong troubleshooting, debugging, monitoring, and query
handling skills.

- Analytical

Thinking: Ability to identify issue patterns and drive continuous
improvement.

Education & Experience

- Experience:

Minimum 4 years of genuine IT experience in SAP SD.

- Certification:

SAP S/4HANA Sales certification preferred.

- Domain

Exposure: Large enterprise landscapes with SAP and non-SAP
integrations.
