Job Title: Landscape Horticulturist

Location: Gold Coins & Club Resort, Bengaluru

Reports To: Operations Manager / General Manager

Job Summary

Gold Coins & Club Resort is seeking a skilled and passionate Landscape Horticulturist to design, develop, and maintain aesthetically appealing and sustainable outdoor spaces across the resort. The role focuses on enhancing guest experience through lush greenery, seasonal displays, and well-maintained landscapes that reflect luxury hospitality standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesLandscape Design & Development

- Plan, design, and execute landscaping projects across the resort (gardens, lawns, pathways, water features, etc.)
- Select appropriate plant species based on climate, soil, and aesthetic requirements
- Introduce innovative horticultural concepts to elevate the resort’s visual appeal

Plant Care & Maintenance

- Oversee planting, pruning, fertilization, pest control, and irrigation schedules
- Ensure year-round health and beauty of lawns, trees, shrubs, and flower beds
- Monitor plant diseases and implement corrective measures

Sustainability & Environmental Practices

- Implement eco-friendly gardening practices (organic composting, water conservation, native plants)
- Develop waste management strategies for garden waste
- Promote biodiversity within the resort ecosystem

Team Management

- Supervise and train gardeners and landscaping staff
- Allocate daily tasks and ensure timely completion of maintenance work
- Maintain discipline, safety, and productivity within the team

Irrigation & Infrastructure

- Manage irrigation systems (drip, sprinkler, etc.) to ensure efficient water usage
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs and upgrades





Seasonal Planning & Events Support

- Plan seasonal flower displays and thematic landscaping for events, weddings, and festivals
- Collaborate with the events team to enhance outdoor décor

Vendor & Inventory Management

- Source plants, fertilizers, tools, and landscaping materials from vendors
- Maintain inventory and control costs within budget

Qualifications & Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Horticulture, Landscape Design, Agriculture, or related field
- 3–7 years of experience in landscaping/horticulture (hospitality/resort experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of tropical plants, soil management, and irrigation systems
- Experience in large property or resort landscaping is highly desirable
