About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive sales growth, strengthen distribution, and expand market presence across the assigned territory. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in General Trade, distributor management, and team leadership, with a proven ability to achieve business targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive primary and secondary sales across the assigned territory.
- Appoint, develop, and manage distributors and channel partners.
- Expand retail coverage and improve product availability.
- Lead, coach, and monitor the performance of the field sales team.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Execute trade schemes, promotional activities, and market development initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key accounts.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
- Ensure timely reporting, forecasting, and adherence to sales processes.

Preferred Candidate Profile





- 5–8 years of experience in Area Sales, Territory Sales, or Channel Sales.
- Experience in FMCG, Consumer Durables, Food Products, Retail, Institutional Sales, or General Trade.
- Strong distributor and channel management experience.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading field sales teams.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
- Experience with CRM or Sales Force Automation (SFA) tools is an advantage.

Pay: ₹66,667.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
