About the Role

Arabian Villa is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Chef to support kitchen operations and assist in preparing high-quality meals. The ideal candidate should have experience in Indian, Chinese, Mughlai, Tandoor, and South Indian cuisine and be committed to maintaining food quality, hygiene, and efficiency in the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist the Chef in preparing and cooking Indian, Chinese, Mughlai, Tandoor, and South Indian dishes.

* Prepare ingredients, sauces, and mise en place for daily operations.

* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen as per food safety standards.

* Ensure proper storage and handling of food and ingredients.

* Assist in monitoring inventory and reducing food wastage.

* Support the Chef in smooth day-to-day kitchen operations.

* Help ensure timely preparation and presentation of food.

* Follow recipes, portion control, and kitchen guidelines.

Requirements

* Minimum 2+ years of experience as an Assistant Chef or Commis Chef in a hotel, restaurant,



or hospitality establishment.

* Basic knowledge of Indian, Chinese, Mughlai, Tandoor, and South Indian cuisine.

* Valuable understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene.

* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

* Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

* Ability to follow instructions and support kitchen operations effectively.
