LUMOSPOD STUDIOS is a Podcast & Modelling Studio looking for a highly skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team. We are seeking someone who is passionate about visual storytelling, understands digital platforms, and has a sharp eye for detail.

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Video Editor who can create engaging and high-quality video content for social media, websites, podcasts, and marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working on a variety of video formats—from short-form reels to long-form podcast edits—while maintaining a consistent brand style.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit and create engaging video content for social media, website, and marketing campaigns
- Edit podcast videos, reels, shorts, and promotional content
- Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and develop new video content ideas
- Maintain a consistent visual style and storytelling approach across all video platforms
- Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing trends, formats, and platform requirements
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure video content aligns with campaign goals
- Optimize video content for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and other social media channels
- Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work under tight timelines

Video Editing Responsibilities

- Edit long-form and short-form video content for social media and digital platforms
- Use professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro,



or DaVinci Resolve
- Add music, sound effects, transitions, subtitles, and other audio-visual elements as needed
- Ensure videos are optimized for different aspect ratios and formats (Reels, Shorts, YouTube, etc.)
- Maintain organized project files and follow studio workflows

Requirements

- 1+ years of experience in video editing
- Strong portfolio showcasing video editing work (reels, podcasts, promotional videos, etc.)
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (knowledge of After Effects is a plus)
- Good understanding of video storytelling, pacing, and transitions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Good command of English (spoken and written) with strong comprehension skills.

Nice to Have

- Experience with motion graphics or basic animation
- Knowledge of sound design and audio cleanup
- Experience editing podcast content
- Familiarity with social media trends and short-form video formats
