Balaji Niryaat Private Limited is seeking a skilled and experienced Slitting Operator to operate and maintain stainless steel slitting lines. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in slitting stainless steel coils, ensuring dimensional accuracy, quality compliance, and adherence to safety standards while maximizing production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate stainless steel slitting machines efficiently as per production schedules.
- Set up slitting lines, including knife assembly, spacers, tension settings, and recoiler adjustments.
- Read and interpret production orders, slit plans, and technical specifications.
- Ensure slit coils meet required width, edge quality, coil weight, and dimensional tolerances.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments during production.
- Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final quality inspections.
- Identify and report defects such as burrs, camber, scratches, edge waviness, or surface damage.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and minor troubleshooting of the slitting line.
- Coordinate with the Quality, Production, and Maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate production records, machine logs, and material consumption reports.
- Follow 5S, workplace safety, and company quality standards at all times.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and identification of stainless steel coils to prevent material damage.





Required Qualifications

- ITI/Diploma or equivalent technical qualification preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience operating slitting machines in the stainless steel manufacturing or processing industry.
- Strong understanding of slitting operations, knife setting, coil handling, and machine adjustments.
- Ability to read measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and measuring tapes.
- Basic knowledge of preventive machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and safety practices in a manufacturing workplace.

Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
