Job Position – Electrical Design Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing Low Voltage (LV) Control Panels, Automation Control Panels, and industrial electrical systems. The role involves preparing detailed electrical designs, developing engineering documentation, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects are delivered in compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop General Arrangement (GA) Drawings, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), Power Wiring Diagrams, Control Schematics, and Terminal Layouts for LV Control Panels and Automation Control Panels.
- Prepare, modify, and maintain electrical drawings using EPLAN Electric P8 and AutoCAD Electrical.
- Design PLC-based electrical control circuits for industrial automation, motor control, and process automation applications.
- Develop relay logic, motor control circuits, protection schemes, and electrical interlocking systems for safe and reliable machine operation.
- Prepare Approval Drawings, Good for Manufacturing (GFM) Drawings, As-Built Drawings, and maintain revision control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM), Material Purchase Requisitions (MPR), and related engineering documentation.
- Interpret electrical drawings and ensure seamless integration between PLCs, HMIs, electrical hardware, instrumentation, and field devices.
- Ensure all electrical designs comply with applicable industry standards, customer specifications, and safety regulations.
- Optimize electrical designs for reliability, efficiency, balanced load distribution, and ease of maintenance.
- Participate in technical discussions with customers, consultants, vendors,



and internal stakeholders to resolve technical queries and deliver effective engineering solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation, including wiring schedules, cable schedules, terminal plans, operating manuals, maintenance manuals, and revision records.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Procurement, Quality, and Commissioning teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.
- Provide technical support during manufacturing, testing, installation, and commissioning activities whenever required.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 4–5 years of experience in Electrical Design Engineering, preferably in industrial automation, machine building, or electrical control panel manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with EPLAN Electric P8 and/or AutoCAD Electrical is mandatory.
- Positive understanding of electrical standards, industrial safety practices, and panel design principles.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Willingness to work from the Delhi office on a full-time basis.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
