Job Title: Stores Assistant

Department: Stores / Inventory / Materials Management

Reporting To: Stores In-Charge / Store Manager / Purchase Head

Location: Ambattur , Chennai

Job Purpose:

To assist in the efficient handling, storage, and issue of materials, consumables, tools, and finished goods in the store while maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely supply to production and other departments.

- Material Receipt & Verification
- Storage & Handling
- Issuing Materials
- Inventory Control
- Documentation & Record Keeping
- Safety & Housekeeping
- Coordination
- Coordinate with the Purchase, Quality, and Production departments for smooth material flow.
- Support stock reconciliation with finance and audit teams.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Education:
- Minimum:



12th / Diploma in Material Management / Graduate in any discipline.
- Preferred: Certification or Diploma in Storekeeping, Inventory Management, or Supply Chain.
- Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in stores or warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing setup.
- Skills:
- Basic knowledge of storekeeping and inventory procedures.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
- Basic computer literacy (MS Excel, Word).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
