We are looking for a skilled and responsible Lathe Machine Operator to operate conventional lathe machines for machining metal components as per engineering drawings and production requirements. The candidate should have knowledge of machine operations, measuring instruments, and quality inspection.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate conventional lathe machines safely and efficiently.
- Perform machining operations such as Facing, Turning, Drilling, Threading, and Knurling.
- Set up jobs, mount workpieces, and align tools before machining.
- Select appropriate cutting tools and adjust feed and speed according to job requirements.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and job specifications.
- Measure finished components using Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, and Gauges.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
- Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance.
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean workplace.

Required Skills





- Knowledge of lathe machine operations.
- Understanding of machine parts such as Bed, Headstock, Tailstock, Carriage, Chuck, Tool Post, and Lead Screw.
- Knowledge of Facing, Turning, Drilling, Threading, and Knurling operations.
- Understanding of job setting, feed, and speed.
- Ability to use Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, and Gauges.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Basic understanding of quality inspection.

Qualification

- Minimum 10th / 12th Pass or ITI.

Preferred ITI Trades

- Turner
- Machinist
- Fitter
- Tool & Die Maker
- Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance (MMTM)

Experience

- Fresher to Experienced candidates can apply.

Location

As per company requirement.

Salary

Negotiable based on qualification and experience.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
