Why This Role

We're closing two specific gaps on our client projecy delivery bench, not hiring a generalist. Our team already has strong Experience Cloud coverage and a dedicated org-migration/architecture specialist — what we don't have is hands-on Commerce Cloud experience or a developer whose primary focus is data migration (as distinct from org/metadata migration). This role fills both gaps and works directly alongside our existing Experience Cloud and org-migration leads.

The commerce need is driven by the need for our clients B2B commerce work — buy/add/renew flows, bundled SKU checkout, and self-service purchasing surfaced through Salesforce. The data migration need is driven by the projects Core-to-SaaS transition, which involves real historical data volume (cases, contracts, assets, FA Tracker records) that needs profiling, mapping, cleansing, and reconciliation — a distinct skill set from the metadata/architecture migration work our existing org-migration expert already owns.

What You'll Do

- Design and build Salesforce Commerce Cloud / B2B Commerce capability supporting Easy Renew, embedded Platform ONE commerce, and Service Cloud portal purchasing — buy/add/renew workflows, bundled SKU checkout, tokenized payment integration.
- Partner with our Experience Cloud team to integrate commerce functionality into the existing Partner and Support Portal builds, rather than standing up a parallel, disconnected storefront.
- Own the data migration workstream for the Salesforce Core-to-SaaS transition: data profiling, source-to-target mapping, cleansing, de-duplication, reconciliation,



and cutover execution.
- Work alongside (not in place of) our org-migration/architecture lead — they own metadata and structural migration; you own the data itself.
- Design and build integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and Workato, including event-driven and batch patterns across Salesforce, Oracle CPQ, Oracle Fusion, and other in-scope third-party systems.
- Support shared entitlement and contract data modeling work
- Run migration dry runs and reconciliation cycles, and document data mappings, integration contracts, and migration runbooks for handoff and audit.

Must-Have Qualifications

- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, including at least one full implementation lifecycle (design through go-live).
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, B2B Commerce, Salesforce Order Management, or a comparable storefront/checkout commerce platform — this is the primary gap we're filling and is non-negotiable.
- Proven data migration experience on a Salesforce program — data profiling, ETL/mapping, deduplication, and reconciliation — distinct from, and in addition to, org/metadata migration experience.
- Strong integration development background: REST/SOAP APIs, plus direct hands-on experience building and maintaining Workato recipes and integrations in production.




- Solid Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, and declarative Salesforce development skills.
- Comfortable working as one specialist inside a multi-workstream program alongside other specialists — an existing Experience Cloud team and org-migration architect — rather than as a sole generalist owning everything.
- Clear, proactive communicator: this role sits at the intersection of two existing specialist tracks and needs to coordinate tightly with both.

Nice to Have

- Experience with AI/agentic integration patterns — Salesforce Agentforce, MCP (Model Context Protocol), or similar AI-agent orchestration work.
- Experience integrating with Oracle CPQ and/or Oracle Fusion.
- Familiarity with adjacent SaaS platforms in this program's ecosystem — Coveo, Highspot, ChurnZero, or similar.
- Prior experience delivering on two concurrent Salesforce programs sharing a single org (parallel-program coordination).
- Relevant Salesforce certifications: Commerce Cloud Digital Developer, Platform Developer II, or Data Architecture and Management Designer.
