We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Executive – Taxation with 1–2 years of experience to manage taxation-related activities, ensure statutory compliance, and support the finance team in maintaining accurate tax records. The candidate should have a good understanding of GST, TDS, and basic accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) accurately and within deadlines.
* Reconcile GST input and output tax with books of accounts.
* Deduct, deposit, and reconcile TDS as per applicable provisions.
* Prepare and file TDS returns and issue TDS certificates.
* Assist in Income Tax compliance and statutory audits.
* Maintain tax-related records, registers, and supporting documentation.
* Coordinate with internal departments for tax-related information and compliance.
* Liaise with external consultants, auditors, and government authorities whenever required.
* Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and statutory regulations.
* Assist in month-end and year-end accounting activities related to taxation.
* Support the finance team in tax assessments, notices, and reconciliations.
* Stay updated with changes in taxation laws and ensure timely implementation.
Required Skills
* Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic Income Tax provisions.
* Working knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime and MS Excel.
* Understanding of accounting principles and statutory compliance.
* Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
* Positive communication and coordination abilities.
* Ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
