Key Responsibilities:

- - Create, modify, and maintain 3D CAD models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings using Creo and PLM tools.
- Develop machine layouts, assembly layouts, and manufacturing documentation in accordance with design requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company, industry, national, and international engineering standards.
- Process and execute internal engineering work requests within defined timelines.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and product engineering.
- Participate in and conduct Drawing Quality Reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to design standards.
- Generate and manage engineering Bills of Materials (BOMs) and related product documentation.
- Apply GD&T; principles, tolerance stack-up analysis, and design-for-manufacturing best practices during product development.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to design processes, quality, and productivity.
- Maintain engineering data and documentation within PLM systems.

Skills and Experience Required:

- - Bachelor's Degree (BE/B.Tech)



in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, mechanical design engineering, or a related engineering workplace.
- Proficiency in Creo (latest version) for both 2D drafting and 3D modelling is mandatory.
- Experience in the design of press tools, jigs, fixtures, assembly fixtures, and machine tools.
- Hands-on experience with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T;) and tolerance stack-up analysis.
- Understanding of heat treatment processes and their effects on component distortion, dimensional stability, and material properties will be an added advantage.
- Experience in preparing and reviewing manufacturing drawings for castings, forgings, and corresponding raw material blanks will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with surface engineering processes, including case hardening, nitriding, and various coating technologies, will be an added advantage.
