Job Summary:

Vegam Aerospace is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) Operator with 3–4 years of experience in the aerospace industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing precise dimensional inspections of aerospace components, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and program CMM machines for inspection of aerospace components.

Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and specifications.

Perform dimensional inspection and prepare accurate inspection reports.

Ensure all measurements meet aerospace quality standards and customer requirements.

Conduct first article inspection (FAI) as per AS9102 standards.

Maintain proper documentation and records of inspection results.

Identify non-conformities and coordinate with quality and production teams for corrective actions.

Perform routine maintenance and calibration checks of CMM equipment.

Ensure adherence to safety and quality procedures at all times.

Required Qualifications & Skills:





Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

3–4 years of hands-on experience as a CMM Operator in the aerospace industry.

Robust knowledge of GD&T; and engineering drawings.

Experience with CMM software such as PC-DMIS, Calypso, or equivalent.

Familiarity with aerospace quality standards (AS9100, AS9102).

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy in measurements.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in handling complex aerospace components.

Knowledge of CNC machining processes.

Basic understanding of quality tools and root cause analysis.

Work Environment:

Manufacturing/production floor environment.

May require shift work based on production needs.

Salary:

Competitive salary based on experience and industry standards.

Pay: ₹13,649.07 - ₹30,953.04 per month
