Qualifications

- BTech - Mechanical or Diploma - Mechanical
- Experience in R&D; in switchgear industry
- Minimum work experience - 3-5 years

Job Description & Responsibilities

- Vision/idea to design to prototype to type test.
- Translate new technological development into design and process.
- Develop current designs, cost reductions, and design modifications that will assure
product and technology leadership in accordance with the company's strategic plan.
- Prepare project level and product documentation based on the requirements.
- Document product robustness using simulations, analysis and testing methods.
- Prepare and maintain product documentation, instruction manuals, project notebooks,
and design and test documentation.
- Arrange design reviews, analyse concepts and cost effectiveness of the hardware designs.
- Coordinate engineering activities with purchasing and manufacturing. Assist Purchasing
on supplier selection and component evaluation.
- Write papers, participate in technical meetings, seminars, and conferences.
