Position Overview:

Join ANEW, a pioneering organization that has trained over 10,000 women in General Health Aide skills and successfully placed them in home health nurse roles across Chennai. As a Nursing Tutor, you will shape the next generation of caregivers through impactful theory and practical sessions, using cutting-edge teaching strategies and heart-led guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead engaging sessions on Nursing Fundamentals, Patient Care, and Home-Based Care
- Deliver both theoretical instruction and hands-on training with clarity and empathy
- Use effective teaching tools such as:

o Chalkboard/whiteboard

o PowerPoint presentations

o Illustrative pictures and animated videos

- Guide students through repetitive skill practice with patience and encouragement
- Create visual aids, assessments, and contribute to curriculum improvement
- Foster a respectful, inclusive, and motivating classroom atmosphere
- Collaborate with fellow educators to improve program quality and learner outcomes

Required Qualifications:

- Education: B.Sc in Nursing from a recognized institution
- Experience: GNM with a minimum of 5 years in nursing education or healthcare training




- Core Attributes:

o Excellent practical knowledge in patient care

o Ability to teach both clinical and theoretical concepts

o Patience and clarity in repeating skill demonstrations

o Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

o Warm and adaptable communication style

o Strong ethical and professional grounding in nursing

Desirable Traits:

- Experience in home-based care or vocational health programs
- Mentoring learners
- Flexibility to adapt lessons to varied skill levels

Working Conditions:

- Salary: ₹18,000 to ₹25,000 per month based on the experience
- Work Days: Monday to Friday
- Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
