Position: Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for managing customer invoicing, monitoring outstanding receivables, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role requires close coordination with customers, the Sales, Project, and Finance teams to ensure efficient cash flow management and timely collections while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate and issue accurate customer invoices in a timely manner.
- Monitor customer accounts and track outstanding receivables.
- Follow up with customers for timely payment of invoices through calls, emails, and meetings.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Record and allocate customer payments in the accounting system.
- Prepare Accounts Receivable ageing reports and collection status reports.
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve customer payment-related issues.
- Maintain accurate customer records and supporting documentation.
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.




- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
- Assist during internal and external audits.
- Identify opportunities to improve receivables processes and collection efficiency.
- Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Finance Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- M.Com, CA (Inter), CMA, or MBA (Finance) is an added advantage.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, or Finance.
- Proven experience in customer collections, account reconciliation, invoicing, and receivables management.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Zoho, Tally, or similar

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
