Qualifications

- Graduate (Mandatory)
- ECCEd / Montessori Certification (Mandatory)
- B.Ed. (Preferred)

Experience

- 5–8 years of experience in Preschool/Early Childhood Education.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an Academic Leadership role.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Academic Head to lead the academic operations of our Preschool & Daycare. The ideal candidate will be responsible for curriculum planning, teacher development, child progress monitoring, parent engagement, safety compliance, and ensuring a high-quality learning environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic & Curriculum Management

- Plan and implement the preschool curriculum using Playway, Montessori, or similar teaching approaches.
- Ensure effective lesson planning and classroom delivery.
- Monitor classroom activities and maintain academic standards.
- Introduce innovative learning methods and age-appropriate activities.

Teacher Training & Development

- Train and mentor teachers in phonics, storytelling, classroom management, and teaching methodologies.
- Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback.
- Support onboarding and continuous professional development of teachers.

Child Development

- Monitor children's developmental milestones and learning progress.
- Ensure timely assessments, portfolios, and progress reports.
- Identify learning gaps and implement improvement strategies.

Parent Engagement

- Conduct Parent Orientation Programs,



PTMs, and academic workshops.
- Address parent concerns related to academics and child development.
- Build robust relationships with parents through effective communication.

Safety & Compliance

- Ensure child safety standards are followed across the centre.
- Train staff on emergency procedures and child protection policies.
- Monitor classroom safety and supervision at all times.

Classroom & Learning Environment

- Create engaging, child-friendly classrooms aligned with learning objectives.
- Ensure availability of age-appropriate teaching-learning materials.
- Promote experiential, play-based, and inclusive learning environments.

Academic Administration

- Maintain academic records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and preschool standards.
- Coordinate with the administration team for smooth day-to-day operations.

Events & Activities

- Plan and execute academic events, annual functions, sports day, theme-based activities, and parent engagement programs.
- Ensure all activities support children's learning and development.
