Vacant For Consultant Microbiologist

Qualification: Phd (Microbiology)

Experience: 5 to 12 Years

Salary: 45000 to 50000

Location: Chennai

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Supervise and validate microbiology laboratory investigations and reports.
- Interpret culture, sensitivity, and molecular diagnostic results.
- Advise clinicians on diagnosis and appropriate antimicrobial therapy.
- Lead infection prevention and hospital infection surveillance programs.
- Develop and monitor antimicrobial stewardship policies.
- Ensure compliance with NABL/NABH standards, quality control, and SOPs.
- Investigate healthcare-associated infection outbreaks.
- Oversee laboratory quality assurance, biosafety, and accreditation activities.
- Train and mentor residents, laboratory technologists, and junior staff.
- Participate in clinical meetings, audits, research, and continuing medical education (CME).

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
