Job Summary

Sameer Electro Systems Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a highly experienced Senior Estimation Engineer to lead the Estimation Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, managing the tendering process, leading a team of junior estimation engineers, and ensuring timely submission of competitive bids. The candidate should possess strong technical expertise, commercial understanding, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the Estimation team, ensuring efficient planning, task allocation, and timely completion of tender submissions.
- Mentor, train, and guide Junior Estimation Engineers, fostering their technical and professional development.
- Review, verify, and approve estimates prepared by junior team members to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with client requirements.
- Study tender documents, BOQs, technical specifications, drawings, and contractual requirements.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for HT/LT electrical systems, substations, industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
- Perform quantity take-offs from electrical drawings and prepare detailed BOQs.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals, bid documentation,



and tender submissions within stipulated deadlines.
- Conduct cost analysis, value engineering, and risk assessment to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
- Coordinate with the Design, Procurement, Projects, Finance, and Contracts teams during the estimation and bidding process.
- Attend site visits, pre-bid meetings, technical discussions, and client meetings whenever required.
- Maintain an updated database of material costs, labour rates, vendor quotations, and historical project data.
- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical standards, client specifications, statutory regulations, and company policies.
- Continuously improve estimation processes, templates, and costing methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Support management in strategic planning, bid evaluation, and business development initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical estimation, tendering, and costing.
- Proven experience in handling industrial, commercial, and infrastructure electrical projects.




- Experience in leading and mentoring estimation teams is mandatory.
- Solid knowledge of HT/LT electrical systems, transformers, switchgear, panels, cabling, earthing, lighting, and associated electrical works.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, BOQs, and tender specifications accurately.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and industry standards.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
