Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee electrical engineering work for FEED, Basic Engineering, and Detailed Engineering phases.

2.Plan, allocate, and supervise tasks for electrical engineers and designers.

3.Review and approve discipline deliverables ensuring technical accuracy and compliance.Prepare and review electrical load lists for projects.

2. Utilize knowledge and experience in ETAP, Dialux, AutoCAD, and E3D for design and analysis purposes.

3. Design protection schemes, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) Load Lists / Load Flow,



Short Circuit & Motor Starting studies,Cable sizing & earthing calculations, Electrical equipment datasheets,Hazardous area classification,Electrical layouts (Substation, MCC, Cable routing) in compliance with industry standards.

4. Develop specifications and design requirements for switchgear, transformers, motors, VFDs, UPS, generators, LV/MV systems.

5. Perform and review power system analysis: Load flow,Short circuit, Relay coordination, Harmonic analysis, Transient stability , Familiarity with ETAP or similar software tools.

6. Prepare Technical Requisitions for electrical equipment. Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE).

7. Review and approve vendor drawings/documents for compliance. Coordinate FAT/SAT for LV/MV switchgear, transformers, panels, UPS systems.

8. Interface with Process, Mechanical, Civil/Structural, Instrumentation, and Piping teams.

9. Participate in model reviews, HAZOP/HAZID, 3D reviews, constructability reviews.

10. Respond to site technical queries, review field changes, and provide technical guidance

11.Ensure designs meet relevant standards: IEC, NEC, IEEE, API, NEMA, NORSOK. Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company/Client procedures.

12. Conduct internal checking, quality audits, and maintain design integrity.

13.



Prepare engineering schedules, manpower estimates, and progress reports. Ensure deliverables are submitted on time and within project budget. Lead discipline meetings with client and internal teams.

12. Coordinate effectively with other engineering disciplines for project integration.

13. Conduct thorough checking and review of all electrical documents and drawings before release.

14. Assist in work planning, progress monitoring, and adherence to scheduled completion of engineering documents.

15. Collaborate with the Lead Engineer and contribute to departmental functions as needed.

Additional Skills:

1. Expertise in designing electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, control systems, and equipment specifications, while adhering to industry standards and codes.

2. Knowledge of energy-effective design principles, renewable energy technologies, and sustainability practices to optimize energy usage and reduce environmental impact.

3. Ability to conduct risk assessments, implement safety measures, and ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, regulations, and codes.

4. Robust communication skills to interact with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, as well as collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and vendors.

5. Proficient in diagnosing and resolving electrical system issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions to improve system performance.

6. Familiarity with Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety (QEHS) standards and regulations is a plus.
