Electrical Draughtsman (MEP) Bangalore | Full-Time | 4–5 Years Experience

About the Role
We are hiring an experienced Electrical Draughtsman (MEP) to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed electrical shop drawings and coordinating MEP designs for large-scale commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed Electrical Shop Drawings for MEP projects, including:
- Lighting Systems
- Small Power Systems
- Cable Tray Routing
- Conduit Layouts
- Earthing & Lightning Protection
- Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
- Power Distribution Layouts
- Prepare coordinated MEP drawings with HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV services
- Prepare Builder's Work Drawings (BWD) and As-Built Drawings based on site execution
- Revise drawings as per site and engineering changes
- Coordinate with Design Engineers, Site Engineers, Consultants, and Clients
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and applicable IS/NBC standards
- Maintain drawing revisions and document control
- Support engineering and execution teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Assist in quantity take-off from drawings as required

Required Skills

- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D




- Strong experience in MEP Electrical Drafting (Lighting, Power, Cable Tray, Earthing, SLD)
- Experience in MEP Coordination
- Ability to read IFC, Tender, and Construction Drawings
- Basic knowledge of Revit/BIM is a plus
- Familiarity with IS Codes, NBC Standards, and Electrical Drafting Standards

Qualifications

- Diploma in Electrical Engineering / ITI (Draughtsman Electrical)
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering preferred

Preferred Project Experience
Candidates with experience on Commercial Buildings, High-Rise Buildings, Hospitals, Hotels, Airports, Industrial Plants, Manufacturing Facilities, Data Centers, Metro/Rail Projects, or IT Parks will be preferred.

Software Knowledge
AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit (preferred), Navisworks (preferred), MS Office
