Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Back End Developer with 1-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. As a Back End Developer at Drongo AI, you will play a key role in developing high quality, efficient and maintainable applications, APIs and databases. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in back end development principles, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for creating efficient and scalable systems.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop server-side applications and APIs.
- Implement and maintain SQL and/or NoSQL databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with frameworks such as Django, Node.js, Express, and Go.
- Optimise application performance and scalability through efficient database design and query optimization.
- Implement automated tests to ensure the reliability and robustness of the back end systems.
- Deploy and maintain applications on edge or cloud platforms to ensure seamless performance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.




- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in back end development.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in back end development.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following back end frameworks/languages: Django, Node.js, Express, or Go.
- Strong understanding of back end development principles, including database design, RESTful APIs, and server-side architecture.
- Must have experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with SOA/microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure.
- Understanding of security best practices for web applications.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
