A fabric inventory store incharge manages textile stocks, incoming materials, and material issuance in a garment unit or textile warehouse. They track fabric rolls, check for defects, maintain ledger records, and supply materials to the cutting floor.

Core Duties

- Stock Control: Count, log, and organize fabric rolls by type, color, and lot number.
- Quality Check: Inspect incoming textiles for damage, flaws, or shrinkage issues.
- Material Issue: Hand out exact fabric lengths to production or cutting departments based on approved requisitions.
- Record Keeping: Update inventory software or physical stock registers to prevent shortages or discrepancies.
- Vendor Coordination: Help track material deliveries and report short shipments.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of textile types, weaves, and defects.
- Proficiency in basic computer tools or ERP inventory software.
