Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Planning Engineer to manage planning and coordination activities for our electrical projects at the Panipat site. The candidate should have hands-on knowledge of industrial electrical works and be capable of planning site activities, monitoring progress, coordinating with execution teams, and ensuring timely completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and manage daily, weekly, and monthly site work plans.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and site teams for smooth project execution.
- Plan manpower, materials, tools, and equipment as per the project schedule.
- Monitor project progress and ensure activities are completed within the planned timeline.
- Track site productivity and identify delays or bottlenecks.
- Prepare daily progress reports, planning schedules, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with procurement and execution teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Support project execution by ensuring proper work sequencing and resource allocation.
- Assist in resolving site coordination issues to avoid project delays.

Required Skills & Experience

- Degree is not mandatory.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in planning and coordination of electrical site projects.
- Strong practical knowledge of:
- LT Power and Control Cable Laying
- Cable Drum Inspection, Unloading, Handling, and Drum Opening Procedures
- Cable Routing, Dressing, Clamping, Tagging, and Identification




- Cable Glanding and Termination (Power & Control Cables)
- Cable Looping and Ferruling
- High Mast Lighting Installation and Commissioning
- Earthing System Installation and Testing
- Electrical Panel Installation and Interconnections
- Use of Insulation Resistance Tester (Megger) and Interpretation of Test Results
- Continuity Testing and Pre-Commissioning Checks
- Identification and Handling of Electrical Equipment such as MCC, PCC, APFC Panels, Transformers, DBs, Junction Boxes, Motors, Lighting Fixtures, Cable Trays, and Switchgear
- Ability to read and understand SLDs, Electrical Layouts, GA Drawings, and Cable Schedules.
- Knowledge of electrical safety practices, Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO), and Permit-to-Work systems.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word for planning, reporting, and progress tracking.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate

- Immediate Joiner (Highly Preferred).
- Experience in industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
- Willing to relocate to Panipat.
- Good planning, coordination, and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and manpower management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple project activities simultaneously.
