Job Overview

The incumbent is expected to lead the drones and robotics track with wide and in-depth understanding of Drones types, payloads, technologies and solutions. He will work in setting up the right team and translating clients needs into drone solutions and services. He is expected to develop technical and commercial proposals for various drone solutions and services in Oil, Gas and Utilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Leading Drone business development and solutions development track and team.
- Understand client requirements and translating them into drone solutions
- Experience in developing technical and commercial proposals for various drone solutions and services in Oil, Gas and Utilities.
- Managing and supporting the end-to-end implementation of drone solutions




- Perform market research to identify new technologies, success stories, assess viability and prioritize opportunities
- Expertise in deploying UAV sensor-based solutions in various markets and sectors
- Expertise in the UAV/Drone industry, hardware and software, what is currently possible, what is coming

Skills & Experience

- Expert in drones types, integration and applications (payload, sensing and control), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine learning for drones with post-data analysis experience.
- Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and/or Kanban software development methodologies
- Business development and engineering experience with any of the following drone companies: Skylark, Terradrone, Aerodyne, etc
- Experience with IBM Watson and Microsoft Azure video analytics tools is a plus
- Hands-on software development experience is a plus
- Experience with DroneDeploy and Kespry is a plus
- Have solid problem solving and decision making, communications and presentation, economic analysis and budgeting skills. Experience in budgeting and planning with excellent English written and oral communication skills.

Qualifications

- Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent
- 8+ years experience in developing and deploying UAV, robotics and automated flight solutions for Oil, Gas and Utilities.
