Job Summary

The Sales Officer is responsible for achieving sales targets, developing the assigned territory, managing distributors, increasing retail coverage, ensuring product availability, and maintaining strong customer relationships across Erode and Salem. The role requires extensive field travel and execution of company sales strategies in the FMCG and Beverage market. These responsibilities closely match current FMCG beverage sales roles in Tamil Nadu.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales Target Achievement

- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Drive both primary and secondary sales.
- Increase market share within the assigned territory.

Distributor Management

- Appoint and develop distributors.
- Monitor distributor stock levels.
- Ensure timely order placement and replenishment.
- Improve distributor productivity.

Retail Market Coverage

- Visit retailers as per the beat plan.
- Increase numeric and weighted distribution.
- Add recent retail outlets.




- Ensure product availability in all key outlets.

Merchandising & Visibility

- Ensure proper product display.
- Implement merchandising standards.
- Execute promotional activities.
- Improve shelf visibility.

Market Development

- Identify new business opportunities.
- Develop General Trade (GT), Wholesale, HORECA, and Modern Trade accounts where applicable.
- Conduct market surveys.
- Monitor competitor pricing and promotional activities.

Collections

- Collect outstanding payments within the credit period.
- Maintain customer ledger discipline.
- Coordinate with Accounts for payment reconciliation.

Reporting

- Submit Daily Sales Reports (DSR).
- Submit Monthly Sales Reports (MSR).
- Report market intelligence and competitor activities.
- Track target achievement.

Customer Relationship

- Build strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and institutional customers.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction.

Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
