Fleet Maintenance & Repairs

Coordinate scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance plans for heavy trucks and equipment.

Prioritize urgent breakdowns to get commercial vehicles back on the road quickly.

Oversee advanced diagnostics and complex mechanical or hydraulic repairs.

Ensure all fleet vehicles comply with regional transport and safety regulations.

Team Leadership & Management

Supervise heavy diesel mechanics, apprentices, and support staff.

Assign daily tasks based on staff skill sets and workload priorities.

Provide technical coaching, mentorship, and arrange ongoing training.

Monitor team performance and address staffing needs.

Operations & Resource Control

Manage spare parts inventory, tool replacement, and vendor relationships.

Track operational budgets, labor costs, and repair expenditures.

Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free workshop conditions.

Maintain maintenance logs, compliance records, and digital tracking software.

Education:
