Qualifications/Trainings

- Master’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field
- Certification in special education or inclusive education is preferred.
- Knowledge of multiple counselling approaches

Experience

- Minimum 3-4 years of experience as a special educator, preferably in an IB or international school setting.
- Experience with assessment tools and strategies for identifying and addressing special needs.

Skills

- Solid understanding of diverse learning needs and inclusive teaching strategies.
- Ability to design and implement effective intervention plans.
- The ability to work with Youth, colleagues and parents

with a high degree of professionalism

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Key metrics of this role:

- - Provide individualized and small-group instruction to support students with learning differences, including developmental delays, learning disabilities, and other special needs.
- Design and implement intervention plans tailored to students' specific needs, in alignment with IB PYP principles.
- Conduct assessments to identify students' strengths, areas for development, and learning styles.
- Ensure students with special needs can engage effectively in classroom activities and assessments.
