Job Title: Assistant Manager - Maintenance

Location: Kareli, Madhya Pradesh

Salary: ₹30,000/- per month

Experience Required: Minimum 5 years in Industrial Manufacturing (Electrical Maintenance)

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Maintenance Assistant Manager to join our industrial manufacturing team in Kareli. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in electrical systems and maintenance operations in a manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring smooth plant operations through effective maintenance planning and team management.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise the electrical maintenance team for daily operations and breakdown maintenance.
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all electrical equipment, machinery, and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues in industrial machinery (motors, panels, PLCs, drives, transformers, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical regulations, and ISO requirements.
- Coordinate with production, mechanical, and instrumentation teams for minimal downtime.
- Maintain documentation of maintenance activities, spare parts inventory, and reports.
- Train and develop junior technicians on best maintenance practices.
- Support energy conservation and improvement initiatives.
- Handle shift duties as required.

Requirements

- Experience:



Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Electrical Maintenance in an industrial manufacturing plant.
- Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, HT/LT panels, motors, VFDs, PLCs, and automation.
- Proven track record in reducing breakdowns and improving equipment reliability.
- Ability to read electrical drawings, circuit diagrams, and manuals.
- Valuable leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts and handle emergencies.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in FMCG, or any continuous process industry.
- Knowledge of SAP / maintenance management software.
- Safety certifications (e.g., First Aid, Electrical Safety).
