Job Summary

The Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing medicines accurately, managing pharmacy inventory, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing medication-related guidance to patients while maintaining excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Dispense prescribed medicines accurately as per doctor's prescription.
- Verify prescriptions for completeness and accuracy.
- Counsel patients on medication dosage, usage, storage, and possible side effects.
- Maintain proper inventory, stock levels, and expiry tracking.
- Ensure medicines are stored according to recommended conditions.
- Process billing and maintain pharmacy records.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow all pharmacy regulations and hospital policies.
- Handle controlled drugs and maintain statutory registers.
- Participate in pharmacy audits and quality checks.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper organization of the pharmacy.

Qualifications





- D.Pharm / B.Pharm (Mandatory)
- Valid State Pharmacy Council Registration

Experience

- 1–3 years of experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy.
- Freshers with valid registration may also apply.

Skills Required

- Positive knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs and medical terminology.
- Strong communication and patient counselling skills.
- Inventory and stock management knowledge.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in shifts when required.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Experience in hospital pharmacy is preferred.
- Customer-focused with a professional attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
