We are seeking a skilled Plumbing & Fire Protection (PHE) Design Engineer with 3 to 8 years of experience to join our engineering team. In this role, you will design hydraulic, public health, and life-safety systems for high-rise commercial, residential, and mixed-use building developments.

You will lead system calculations, pressure zoning, 3D BIM modeling, and local code compliance from concept design through construction documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- High-Rise Plumbing Systems: Design booster pump systems, domestic water distribution networks, drainage stacks, rainwater harvesting, and hot water loops.
- Pressure Zoning: Calculate static/dynamic pressures and design Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) stations and vertical pressure zones for tall buildings.
- Fire Protection Design: Design automatic sprinkler systems, Class I/III standpipe risers, fire pump room layouts, and clean agent gas suppression systems.
- Hydraulic Calculations: Perform pipe sizing, head loss, friction calculations, and sprinkler grid hydraulic calculations.
- BIM & 3D Modeling: Prepare detail models, single-line riser diagrams, and layout drawings using Autodesk Revit MEP and AutoCAD. Perform clash detection using Navisworks.
- Equipment Specification: Select and specify fire pumps, domestic pumps, strainers, water heaters,



and PRVs; build technical schedules for procurement.
- Standards & Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with NFPA, IPC/UPC, and local municipal/fire authority regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Education: B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
- Experience: 3 to 8 years in Plumbing & Fire Protection (PHE) design for multi-story/high-rise building projects.
- Core Software:
- Revit MEP (Required)
- AutoCAD (Required)
- Navisworks (Clash detection)
- Hydraulic Software (HASS, HYDRACALC, or Pipe Flow Expert)
- Design Standards: Solid working knowledge of NFPA 13, 14, & 20, International Plumbing Code (IPC), and local building codes.
- Technical Skills: Pressure zoning, pump head calculations, stack dynamic venting, and multidisciplinary MEP coordination.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience handling local fire department / municipal authority approval submittals.
- Familiarity with green building standards (LEED / local green rating systems).

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
