A warehouse manager manages warehouse or stockroom operations. They receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory, process stock requests, and maintain accurate records. They ensure stock availability while preventing overstocking, loss, or spoilage through regular physical audits and strict adherence to safety and storage guidelines.

- Receiving & Shipping: Inspecting deliveries against purchase orders, checking for damages, and properly labeling and shelving goods.
- Inventory Control: Tracking stock levels, ordering replacements when necessary, and conducting routine physical inventory counts.
- Stock Maintenance: Organizing the store layout and applying the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method for perishable or time-sensitive items.
- Documentation: Generating Material Received Reports (MRR), logging stock disbursements, and updating inventory management software.
- Safety & Security: Maintaining a clean and hazard-free workplace, securing the stockroom, and operating material handling equipment (like forklifts) safety.
