The Steward is responsible for delivering excellent customer service by ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience. The role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to the restaurant's service standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome guests in a warm and courteous manner.
- Present menus and explain food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining service standards.
- Ensure tables are clean, well-set, and ready for guests.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve basic concerns professionally.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar team to ensure timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the dining area at all times.
- Follow company SOPs, food safety, and hygiene standards.
- Assist in opening and closing restaurant operations.
- Promote menu items, daily specials, and upsell where appropriate.

Requirements

- 0–2 years of experience in a restaurant, café,



or hotel (Freshers with a Hotel Management background are welcome).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Team player with a willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

- Hotel Management or Hospitality qualification preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food & beverage service and restaurant operations.
