Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (Civil Construction) with a strong background in Real Estate Construction to join our growing team. The ideal candidate must possess extensive experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, billing, contract management, and project cost control for residential and commercial real estate developments.

This position requires candidates who are willing to work at project sites in Bangalore and Hosur. Candidates must be fluent in Kannada, as regular communication with site teams, contractors, vendors, and local stakeholders is essential.

Only candidates with Real Estate Construction experience will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) from architectural and structural drawings.
- Perform quantity take-offs for civil, structural, and finishing works.
- Prepare project cost estimates and budgets.
- Verify contractor bills and certify RA Bills and Final Bills.
- Monitor project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Track material consumption and perform reconciliation for cement, steel, concrete, and other construction materials.
- Evaluate contractor quotations and prepare comparative statements.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Architects, Consultants, Procurement, and Finance teams.
- Review project drawings and specifications for quantity variations.
- Prepare variation orders, change orders, and cost impact analyses.
- Maintain accurate measurement sheets and project documentation.
- Ensure adherence to company cost-control procedures and project budgets.




- Support tendering, procurement, subcontractor evaluation, and contract administration.
- Prepare weekly and monthly MIS reports related to project costs and billing.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project timelines.

Mandatory Qualifications

- Diploma in Civil Engineering, B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Additional certifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Cost Management, or Contract Management will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, BOQ preparation, estimation, billing, and measurement practices.
- Excellent knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quantity calculations.

Experience Requirements

- Minimum 5 years and maximum 15 years of relevant experience.
- Mandatory experience in Real Estate Construction projects.
- Experience in High-Rise Residential, Villas, Commercial Buildings, or Township projects is highly preferred.
- Experience with Developers, Builders, EPC Contractors, or Real Estate Companies is preferred.

Mandatory Language Requirement

Kannada – Mandatory

Candidates must be able to speak, read, and understand Kannada to effectively coordinate with local site teams, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Knowledge of Tamil, Hindi, or English will be considered an additional advantage.
