About us

Strive AV is a commercial audio visual integration company based in South East England. We design, install and support AV systems for corporate and education clients across the UK. Our internal operations run on an ERP platform (IntelliOffice) connected to Xero for accounts, alongside a growing set of custom tools, dashboards and integrations.

The role

We are hiring a part-time developer to own and look after our internal ERP and business systems. This is not a customer-facing product role. Your job is to keep our internal systems running well, extend them, and build the reporting and automation that helps the business run smoothly.

Day to day you will:

- Maintain and develop our ERP environment, including customisations, workflows and data integrity
- Build and maintain integrations between the ERP, Xero and other business tools via their APIs
- Develop internal tools and automation in .NET (C#) and Python
- Design, optimise and manage SQL Server databases, including writing and tuning queries for reporting
- Build and maintain business intelligence dashboards for sales, projects and finance
- Manage our Azure environment (App Services, Functions, storage, backups, Entra ID)
- Handle support requests from the team, troubleshoot issues and document fixes
- Suggest and deliver improvements to how the business uses its systems

What we need from you

- 5+ years of commercial development experience with C# / .NET (we are on .NET 10)
- Strong SQL Server skills: schema design, stored procedures, query optimisation, reporting
- Working Python for scripting, data processing and automation
- Hands-on Azure experience, not just certifications




- Experience integrating third-party systems via REST APIs (accounting, CRM or ERP platforms)
- Excellent written and spoken English. You will communicate daily with UK colleagues, and clear communication is as significant to us as technical skill
- Highly organised and self-managing. You will own these systems, plan your own work and keep the team informed without being chased

Nice to have

- Previous experience supporting or customising an ERP system (any platform)
- Xero API experience
- Power BI or similar reporting tools
- Exposure to Entra ID / Microsoft 365 administration

Hours and availability

- Part time: 15 to 25 hours per week
- Your hours will fall within UK business hours, 9am to 5pm UK time (1:30pm to 9:30pm IST). We will agree a regular pattern with you
- Workload varies: some weeks are busier than others depending on what the business needs, so we're looking for someone genuinely flexible week to week
- Hours are tracked using Insightful, which we'll set up for you
- A short weekly catch-up call, plus responsiveness on urgent issues during your agreed hours
