We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior QA Engineer to lead the quality assurance efforts for enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate should take complete ownership of the testing lifecycle, understand business workflows, collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

The candidate should be proactive in leveraging up-to-date AI tools to improve testing productivity, contribute to test automation, mentor junior QA engineers, and act as the final quality gate before client sign-off and production releases.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Understanding & Functional Testing

· Gain a thorough understanding of business requirements, application architecture, and end-to-end workflows.

· Analyze user stories, functional specifications, and technical documentation to identify test scenarios.

· Perform comprehensive Functional, Integration, Regression, Smoke, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support.

· Validate end-to-end business processes across multiple applications and integrations.

· Ensure complete test coverage before every sprint and production release.

Test Planning & Documentation

· Create detailed and reusable Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scenarios, and Test Data.

· Review business requirements and identify missing or ambiguous scenarios.

· Maintain QA documentation and ensure traceability between requirements and test cases.

· Continuously improve testing standards and documentation quality.

AI-Driven Testing

· Utilize AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms to:

o Generate comprehensive test cases.

o Create edge case scenarios.

o Improve test documentation.

o Assist in writing automation scripts.

o Perform impact analysis for change requests.





· Validate AI-generated outputs to ensure accuracy and business relevance.

Test Automation

· Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts.

· Reuse and improve existing automation frameworks and test suites.

· Collaborate with developers to integrate automation into the CI/CD pipeline.

· Analyze automation coverage and identify opportunities to increase efficiency.

· Execute automated regression suites before releases and report results.

Quality Ownership

· Take end-to-end ownership of the quality of assigned modules and releases.

· Review testing performed by peer QA engineers and provide constructive feedback.

· Ensure defects are properly documented, prioritized, and tracked through closure.

· Perform root cause analysis for escaped defects and recommend preventive measures.

· Verify fixes and ensure no regression is introduced.

Leadership & Mentorship

· Mentor junior QA engineers and guide them on testing best practices.

· Conduct peer reviews for test cases, automation scripts, and defect reports.

· Promote quality-first practices within the engineering team.

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the QA function.

Client Communication & Demos

· Participate in sprint demos, client walkthroughs, and UAT sessions.

· Demonstrate completed features and enhancements to clients during demo calls.

· Clearly explain system functionality, testing outcomes, and known limitations.

· Address client queries and provide functional clarification when required.

Release Management & Sign-off

· Lead release validation activities before deployment.





· Ensure all planned testing activities are completed successfully.

· Assess release readiness based on testing results and quality metrics.

· Provide QA sign-off for UAT and Production deployments after validating that release quality standards have been met.

· Work closely with Project Managers, Developers, and Business Analysts during release planning and production deployments.

Technical Skills:

· Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

· Experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, API, and End-to-End Testing.

· Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks.

· Experience with REST API testing using Postman or equivalent tools.

· Knowledge of SQL for database validation.

· Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

· Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.

AI & Productivity Tools

· Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or similar to improve testing productivity and automation.

Soft Skills

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· Strong communication and presentation skills.

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
