Job Summary

A Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a protected and secure environment by protecting people, property, and assets. The role involves monitoring premises, controlling access, patrolling assigned areas, responding to emergencies, and reporting security incidents.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and patrol assigned premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
- Control entry and exit of employees, visitors, and vehicles.
- Verify visitor identities and issue visitor passes.
- Monitor CCTV cameras and security alarm systems.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, security breaches, fire alarms, and medical incidents.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, equipment, and perimeter areas.
- Report suspicious activities and security incidents to the supervisor.
- Maintain daily occurrence logs and prepare incident reports.
- Ensure compliance with company security policies and procedures.
- Assist employees and visitors with safety-related inquiries.
- Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when required.
