Key Responsibilities of a Civil Engineer

- Plan and design infrastructure projects using engineering principles.
- Prepare drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Conduct site inspections and feasibility studies.
- Supervise construction activities to ensure quality and safety.
- Ensure projects comply with local building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, surveyors, and clients.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Perform structural analysis and recommend suitable construction materials.
- Identify and resolve technical problems during construction.
- Prepare project reports, documentation, and progress updates.
- Inspect completed projects and recommend maintenance or repairs.




- Use engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, or Primavera/MS Project.
