Job Title: Store In-Charge

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and organized Store In-Charge to manage the site store. The role involves overseeing the receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory control of construction materials, tools, equipment, and consumables while ensuring accurate documentation and uninterrupted material availability for project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the project site store.
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials, tools, and equipment.
- Issue materials as per approved material requisition notes (MRNs) and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the procurement team for timely replenishment.
- Maintain inventory registers, stock ledgers, and ERP/Excel records.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure proper storage, identification, and preservation of materials to prevent damage or loss.
- Coordinate with project engineers, procurement, and logistics teams for smooth material movement.
- Maintain documentation, including Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), issue slips, delivery challans, and stock reports.




- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and housekeeping practices within the store.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and material consumption reports.

Qualifications & Experience

- Graduate or Diploma in any discipline (preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience as a Store In-Charge or Store Keeper in industrial, infrastructure, or civil construction projects.
- Knowledge of construction materials, inventory management, and store operations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/store management software is preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.
