- Operate hydraulic / power press machines operations
- Set up dies, molds, and fixtures as per job requirements
- Adjust pressure, stroke length, and speed based on material and production needs
- Load and unload raw materials into the press machine
- Inspect finished components for quality and dimensional accuracy
- Perform routine checks on hydraulic systems (oil level, pressure, leaks)
- Identify machine faults and inform maintenance team when required
- Carry out basic cleaning and preventive maintenance tasks
- Follow safety procedures and ensure proper use of PPE
- Maintain production logs and reporting documents
Required Skills
- Knowledge of hydraulic press operations and safety practices
- Understanding of dies, tools, and material behavior under pressure
- Ability to read basic drawings and job specifications
- Skill in measuring instruments (vernier caliper, micrometer, gauges)
- Basic troubleshooting and mechanical knowledge
