The Construction Supervisor: hands on supervisor who oversees the operations and personnel on a customer site. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient production processes, adherence to safety standards, and successful project execution. The supervisor collaborates with cross functional teams, manages resources, and contributes to process optimization while managing and working with a team to complete on site task. Responsibilities
Oversee and manage daily operations of the Engineering department
Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
Monitor and analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement
Train and supervise team members, providing guidance and support as needed
Collaborate with other departments and teams to achieve common goals and objectives
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to department activities and projects
Manage budget and resource allocation for the Engineering department
Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in technology to improve processes and procedures

Project Management:
Plan and coordinate projects, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation




Communicate project progress and updates to relevant stakeholders
Identify and address any potential roadblocks or issues during the project early to minimize negative impacts.
Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while meeting quality standards
Evaluate project outcomes and implement changes for future improvements

Safety and Compliance:
Develop and enforce safety protocols and procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulations and ever-changing site conditions
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and address any potential hazards
Ability to demonstrate safe work behavior. May work at a hazardous site, may have to demonstrate use of safety equipment at site.
Support Xylem safety programs including Job Self Assessments (JSA) and related checks.
Investigate and report any safety incidents or accidents, implementing corrective actions as needed.

Understand team dynamics and effective management practices. Supervisors should be adept at balancing individual tasks with overseeing team performance.

Ability to address conflicts within the team professionally and constructively.

Inspire and motivate team members to achieve their best.

Assign tasks to construction workers
Supervise all construction workers and subcontractors
Be the liaison to client onsite

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Strong problem-solving skills.
4-year experience working on construction sites
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Job postings will include a wide salary range, with each role's pay falling within that range. The starting salary is based on factors such as skills, experience, location, and market conditions. The estimated salary range for this position is $74,400 to $95,000 plus bonus Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
