Job Description:

We are looking for a creative and technically skilled Junior Fashion Designer to assist in the design and development process. The role involves seasonal planning, creating mood boards, preparing detailed tech packs, coordinating with vendors, and contributing to innovative designs. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with CorelDraw software and tech pack preparation to ensure a seamless transition from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Seasonal Planning:

- Assist in planning for upcoming seasons, including trends, themes, and concepts.

- Create mood boards that reflect market trends and align with brand identity.

2.Design Development & Tech Pack Preparation:

- Develop style-wise designs and translate them into detailed tech packs, including specifications for measurements, fabrics, colors, and trims.

- Ensure tech packs are accurate, production-ready, and in alignment with vendor requirements.

- Use CorelDraw for illustrations, layouts, and design presentations.

3.Vendor Coordination:

- Coordinate with vendors for the development of pre-production (PP) samples and ensure timely approvals.

- Finalize colors, fabrics, and designs with vendors for smooth production.

- Provide clear and precise instructions to vendors to ensure design integrity.

4.Market Research:





- Conduct regular market visits to analyze emerging trends, innovative products, and customer preferences.

- Source and develop new samples with vendors based on market research findings.

5.Collaboration & New Developments:

- Collaborate with the senior merchandiser to discuss and refine new developments and ensure they meet the brand’s goals.

- Contribute creative ideas and solutions during product development discussions.

6.Sales Analysis & Future Planning:

- Analyze sales performance to understand customer preferences and market demand.

- Incorporate sales insights into the design planning process for the upcoming seasons.

.Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in CorelDraw for design and technical drawings.

- Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is a plus.

- Strong skills in tech pack creation and understanding of specifications for production.

Creative & Analytical Skills:

- Solid sense of style, color, and design.

- Ability to analyze sales data and identify trends for planning future collections.

Other Skills:

- Excellent communication and coordination skills for vendor and team collaboration.

- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and precision.

Salary 2.40 – 3 Lac per annum
