Job Summary
The Senior Reliability Design Engineer plays a crucial role in developing high-quality designs that align with project objectives and customer requirements. This position emphasizes the application of reliability analysis, particularly focusing on Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), to ensure that products meet stringent safety and maintainability standards. The Senior Designer will work closely with various stakeholders to refine design specifications and validate solutions through rigorous prototyping, ultimately contributing to the organization’s commitment to delivering reliable and efficient products.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct Reliability Analysis Using Mtbf Metrics To Evaluate Product Performance And Identify Areas For Improvement In Design.
2. Collaborate With Stakeholders To Gather Detailed Design Requirements,
Ensuring Alignment With Customer Needs And Project Goals.
3. Develop Prototypes And Proof-Of-Concept Solutions To Validate Design Decisions, Leveraging Reliability Allocation Principles To Optimize Design Performance.
4. Mentor And Guide Junior Designers By Sharing Expertise, Conducting Training Sessions, And Creating Comprehensive Documentation On Reliability Design Practices.
5. Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Quality Assurance, To Ensure That Design Outputs Meet High-Quality Standards And Reliability Benchmarks.
Skill Requirements
1. Robust Understanding Of Reliability Analysis Methodologies, Specifically Mtbf And Its Applications.
2. Familiarity With Safety And Maintainability Principles In Design.
3. Proficiency In Developing And Validating Design Prototypes Through Iterative Testing And Feedback.
4. Basic Knowledge Of Quality Assurance Processes And Metrics To Enhance Design Reliability.
5. Excellent Communication Skills For Effective Stakeholder Collaboration And Mentoring.
Other Requirements
1. Certification In Reliability Engineering (Cre) Is Optional But Valuable.
