Job Description: Article Assistant (CA Firm)

Position: Article Assistant
Department: Audit / Taxation / Accounting / Compliance
Location: West Vinod nagar
Qualification: CA Inter IPCC/Inter (1st or both groups)
Experience: Fresh Articles / 1–2 years (as applicable)

Key Responsibilities1. Audit & Assurance

- Assist in Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, Internal Audit, and GST Audit.
- Perform vouching, verification, documentation, and audit sampling.
- Prepare audit working papers and ensure compliance with auditing standards.
- Coordinate with clients for data collection and clarification.

2. Accounting & Bookkeeping

- Maintain books of accounts in Tally/Zoho/QuickBooks or other accounting software.
- Assist in preparation of financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L;, Cash Flow).
- Perform bank reconciliation and ledger scrutiny.

3. Direct & Indirect Taxation

- Support in preparation and filing of Income Tax returns (ITR) for individuals, firms, and companies.
- Assist in GST return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9), reconciliations, and compliance.
- Assist in preparation of Tax Audit reports and working papers.

4. ROC & MCA Compliance (if applicable)





- Assist in filing forms such as AOC-4, MGT-7, DIR-3 KYC, and other MCA compliances.
- Help in maintaining statutory registers and minutes.

5. Client Coordination & Documentation

- Communicate with clients to collect data, resolve queries, and share updates.
- Maintain proper documentation, working files, and compliance trackers.
- Support senior team members in end-to-end client management.

Skills Required

- Positive knowledge of Accounting fundamentals
- Basic understanding of GST, Income Tax, and Auditing
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Tally or accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and willingness to learn
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under supervision
